Integration & workflow automation

Make the next step happen in the right system.

Connect applications, APIs and business processes so information and actions can move between teams. We design the integration around the complete workflow, including permissions, confirmation, failures and reconciliation.

Experience. Information. Engineering.

Considered together.
Built around your work.

The opportunity
behind the brief.

The useful result of automation usually lives beyond its first screen. A request must become a case, a reviewed update must reach the system of record, or a status change must be reflected in another application. Integration work needs to address those transitions, not just demonstrate a successful API call.

What we can
help you build.

Shape a workstream around the capabilities you need. The proposal defines which parts are included and how they will be evaluated.

Workflow and system mapping

Identify the authoritative record, the people who own it and each transition required to complete the work. Separate reading information from changing it.

We map identifiers, account boundaries, authentication, field definitions and the provider capabilities the workflow depends on. Unknown or unavailable interfaces become explicit dependencies in the scope.

Connectors and API implementation

Build the required exchanges through supported interfaces. Translate between domain models while retaining enough context to understand where each record came from.

Implementation can include API clients, webhooks, scheduled synchronisation and application-facing endpoints. Provider access, quotas, event behavior and licensing are confirmed for the customer environment.

Reliable actions and recovery

Design for retries, partial success, duplicate messages and systems that are temporarily unavailable. An action should have a clear identity and an inspectable result.

Where a workflow spans systems, we define what can be retried safely, what requires reconciliation and what must go to a person. A timeout does not automatically mean that an external write failed.

Operator visibility

Give the owning team a useful view of pending work, completed actions and exceptions. Make manual intervention part of the workflow where automation cannot resolve the issue safely.

The acceptance check follows the result into the system of record and back to the user-visible status. Logs and dashboards are useful only when they help explain or recover the actual business task.

Work you can
put your hands on.

Concrete outputs to agree at the start of an engagement. The final scope depends on your systems, access and priorities.

Integration contract
Mapped records, source-of-truth decisions, permissions and the exact read/write operations in scope.
Connected workflow
The required connectors and orchestration for one complete business process.
Recovery behavior
Defined handling for duplicate events, retries, partial results and the exceptions that require human intervention.
Operational handover
Configuration, monitoring expectations, run instructions and responsibility for provider-side dependencies.

Inside an engagement

From an approved enquiry to a traceable CRM record

Illustrative engagement: a business wants a reviewed enquiry to enter its CRM with the right context, owner and status.

  1. Map the enquiry fields, matching rules and permitted destination account.
  2. Create an approval point before the external write where required.
  3. Implement the CRM action with a stable request identity and returned record reference.
  4. Verify duplicate handling, failed delivery and reconciliation against the CRM record.

The business can distinguish queued, accepted and failed work and knows which external record represents the completed action.

A clear way
to work together.

Start with enough detail to make a good decision. Expand the work when the first scope has earned it.

Before we
get started.

Scope, responsibilities and commercial terms are agreed with your team.

Can you integrate with our existing vendor?

We first review the vendor’s supported interfaces, access requirements and the operations you need. Integration feasibility is specific to that environment; we do not promise every connector in advance.

What if a system has no suitable API?

We examine supported export/import mechanisms and approved alternatives. If a reliable integration is unavailable, that limitation becomes part of the proposal rather than being hidden behind a fragile demonstration.

Can an AI agent use these workflows?

Yes, where appropriate. The agent calls a scoped tool while the integration retains responsibility for authentication, allowed actions, external results and recovery. The model should not bypass those boundaries.

What could we
make possible?

We’ll find the right place to begin.
